미국에서 아주 자주 쓰이는 "시험" 관련 영어 표현들입니다~

유학생분들 앞으로 모든 시험에서 다~ 에이스하시길 바랍니다!

1. 공부 하길 잘 했다 / 공부 더 할 껄… / 공부 더 열심히 할 껄…

Studying really paid off.

 I should have studied more… / I should have studied harder

2. 시험 망했다

I bombed the test.

3. 점수 뭐 나왔어? 잘 봤어?

What did you get? How did you do?

4. 2번에 뭐 썼어? 2번에 답 뭐 나왔어?

What did you put for number 2?

What did you get for number 2?

5. 시험 정말 잘 쳤어!

I aced that test! / I slayed that test!

6. 이번 시험이 저번꺼보다 어려웠어/쉬웠어.

This test was harder/easier than the last one.

7. 고작 시험 하난데 뭐.

It’s only one test.

8. 이 시험은 내 전체 성적의 20프로야.

This test is worth 20 percent of my entire grade.

9. 이거 수업에서 배웠어? 이거 교과서에 나왔었어?

Did we learn this in class? Was this in the textbook?

10. 선생님이 시험에서 이걸 물어 볼줄은 몰랐어.

I’m surprised he/she asked this on the test.

BONUS

대부분 미국학교 수업에는 시험 뿐만 아니라 숙제, 출석, 프로젝트, 수업 참여 등도 매우 중요하게 생각합니다. 시험을 못친다고 해서 성적을 잘 못 받을거라고 낙담하실 필요 없어요! 한국처럼 중간고사, 기말고사 만으로 성적을 주지 않으니까요.
